Josefina Guerrero:  senior technician

Dedicated to creativity in color, excellence in technique and continuing education, Josefina (“Fini”) has been in the hairdressing industry since 1999.  Specializing in chemical services, she began her career with Toni & Guy Hairdressing, achieving national recognition. A certified L’oreal Professional Educator, shelead weekly salon-wide training for Toni & Guy Hairdressing in Tucson for 10 years; serving as the Regional Technical Educator between 2004 and 2008 and setting the standard for color application salon-wide.  During her tenure with Toni & Guy, Fini completed advanced training courses at internationally renowned academies in Dallas and New York.

Along with her expertise, Josefina brings her commitment to excellence, creativity and education to The Source Salon & Spa, providing the necessary foundation for achieving superior customer service and to supporting our vision with style.

Dawn Acedo:  senior technician

A cosmetologist since 2001, Dawn’s passion for hair was inspired as receptionist at a local salon where she fell in love with the creative atmosphere. After beauty school, she worked in that same salon for five years, cutting, coloring and waxing. From there, Dawn brought her acquired skills to Toni and Guy Hairdressing, where she she continued her training and became a technical educator for three years.  

Celia De La Riva:  senior technician/makeup artist

Celia De La Riva has been doing hair for all of her adult life.  Since 2000, she has specialized in color and makeup applications.  Her credits include assisting in many fashion and hair shows, bridal fairs, weddings and proms, as well as working with Tucson Lifestyle Magazine photographer John Bae. Prior to joining The Source Salon & Spa team, Celia held the position as a certified L’oreal Professional educator.  She also gained extensive training under the national educators for Toni & Guy Hairdressing.  For Toni & Guy, Celia participated on the national education team personally and as part of the Creative Force team, assisted in the launch of TIGI color line. She also educated students on a local level for 5 years. In her free time Celia studies chemistry with the goal of one day creating her own product line.

Felix Canez:  senior technician

Felix has been in the business of hair for 8 years. His area of specialty is color but am being further trained further in the art of cutting and styling hair as well. He got into the industry because of the artistic outlet and the ability to help people feel better about the way they look. Customer service is one of his main driving forces. Driven by customer service and making each client feel at ease, Felix takes pride in insuring not only a great look, but leave feeling like you had a great, total salon experience.

Lisa Esquivel:  stylist/technician/nail technician

Lisa has been a hairstylist since 1998 and is Toni and Guy Hairdressing trained and certified in styling. During her residence in Scottsdale Arizona, Lisa worked for Steven Paul, furthering her education in chemical services. She also created updo styles for Conde Naste.
